Beebe, Arkansas (03/27/10) – Heavy rain that arrived shortly before hot laps, nixed the COMP Cams MSRA Super Late Model Series season opener on Saturday night at I-30 Speedway in Little Rock, Arkansas. The event has been rescheduled for Saturday, April 24th as part of a double header with Malden Speedway in Malden, Missouri (Friday, April 23rd).

(BATESVILLE, ARKANSAS) The Wendell Wallace Autosports team continued their version of the 2010 racing season last Saturday night, March 6 at the South Mississippi Speedway in Long Beach, Mississippi. The Mississippi State Championship Challenge Series (MSCCS) sanctioned the annual running of the ‘Frostbite 50′ and a $5,000 top prize was up for grabs. Wendell Wallace did not time in fast enough to qualify for the dash, but did transfer into the 50-lap feature event by virtue of his second place run in his B-Main. After starting eleventh on the grid in the ‘Frostbite 50,’ Wendell picked off eight cars on his way to a stellar third place performance behind winner Shep Lucas and runner-up David Ashley. Billy Moyer Racing Releases Plans for Next Couple of Weekends

BATESVILLE, ARKANSAS) After taking last weekend off from Dirt Late Model competition, the Billy Moyer Racing (BMR) team has announced their intentions on entering races in Tennessee and Oklahoma the next two weekends. On Friday and Saturday, March 12-13, the Clarksville Speedway in Clarksville, Tennessee will take center stage with the annual running of the ‘Tuckasee Toilet Bowl Classic.’ The MARS DIRTcar Series will sanction a $3,000 to win show on Friday night and a $5,000 to win event on Saturday evening. I-30 Speedway To Host Thursday Night Test N Tune

I-30 Speedway will have a Test N’ Tune Thursday afternoon. Gates will open at 10:30am and we will test from noon until 3pm. FREE admission at the front gate and $10 pit passes. Races for Thursday night start at 7:30.

BMS TrackTek Racing Fuel Season Opener rescheduled for March 18th, 19th & 20th

Due to the excessive rain on the evening of March 10th, the TrackTek Racing Fuel Spring Street Season opener has been rescheduled for March 18th, 19th & 20th.
Thursday the pit gates open at 4PM with Practice from 7 to 9 PM Pit passes will be $15.00. Grandstands open at 5:30 PM Free admission.
On Friday the pit gates open at 4PM with heat races starting at 7PM, Pit passes will be $30.00. Grandstands open at 5:30 PM $10.00 admission.
Saturday night the pit gates open at 4PM with $30.00 Pit Passes and racing starts at 7PM with the Qualifying B Mains, concluding with the 40 Lap $3000.00 to win main event. Grandstands open at 5:30 PM $12.00 admission.

Kyle Beard Ready for P.R.O. Invasion at Columbus Speedway

Trumann, AR (03/08/10) – After two months away from the track, “The Silent Assassin” Kyle Beard will return to action this Saturday with the newly formed P.R.O. Dirt Car Super Late Model tour at Columbus Speedway.
Beard Motorsports was last in action in early January when Kyle picked up a 15th place finish in the 19th Annual Ice Bowl at Talladega Short Track in Eastaboga, Alabama behind the wheel of his #86 GRT By Frye/Samuels Performance Racing Engine Super Late Model.

We know some tracks had Play Days this past weekend and we hope all the Drivers, Crews & Fans enjoyed the beautiful weather. CCSS will get 2010 started with Play Days the next 2 Sundays March 14th and 21st at 2pm, all classes of cars are welcome. Pit Admission will be $10 and the Grandstand Concession stand will have Hamburgers, Hot Dogs and Drinks.
More Clay was donated to CCSS, Lloyd and some of the crew have been at the track this weekend putting it down. CCSS first night racing in 2010 is Saturday March 27th.
