Welcome to ArkansasDirtRacing.net!

This website is the same website as the old ArkansasDirtRacing.com, and owned by the same people, we just slipped up and lost our original domain name. No problem though, we simply freshened up some graphics, and used a back up domain name, ArkansasDirtRacing.net!

This website was due for a fresh look anyways, so we are starting over from scratch, and we will be updating the site as much as possible to help keep the fans of dirt track racing in Arkansas informed on events around the Natural State!

Now, we will need some of your help!

Luke Matheson is the owner/publisher of ArkansasDirtRacing.net.

Luke has been around dirt track racing for nearly 20 years, and has viewed the sports from different angles. He has experience behind the wheel, as a crew member, crew chief, as a tech official and track worker.

Over the past two years, he has moved his way into the media side of the sport with the goal of helping racers, teams, tracks, and promoters gain exposure on the national level.

That is his main vision for ArkansasDirtRacing.net, to put the racers, tracks, and promoters from Arkansas on the national map, and to help bring racers from around the nation into the Natural State for some of our foremost feature racing events.

Sherri Matheson is the official stat keeper and spotter for ArkansasDirtRacing.net.

The wife of Luke Matheson has been around dirt track racing for nearly 8 years and has traveled to many events with her husband, and some of the racers he has helped over the years.

She has worked for several tracks and series as well, and can usually be seen with Luke helping him keep stats during races and help spot the position of the cars on the track during the feature racing event.

Sherri and Luke have been married for nearly two years, and have two little boys, Noah and Dalton.

Carl Richardson is the lead photographer of ArkansasDirtRacing.net.

Carl  has been involved in Dirt track and other facets of racing for 40+ years.He has been involved in everything from spectator at the age of 5,Street Stock Driver (Drag Racing), on a dirt track pit crew ( the # 98 sprint of Carroll Hunt, driven by Mike Hoover in the 80’s), Paint graphic design (Long before they went to skins).

He is currently involved in PR, professional track photography& Web page design for drivers and speedways in the state of Arkansas.

Carl is married to his lovely wife Sharon which is also a professional photographer and currently attending LPN school.

Sharon attends all the races with Carl and can often be seen with a camera in her hand.
