Beebe Speedway hosted a great night of racing this past Friday night. The show was ran very well, the track was smooth, and the racing was great! The Mahony’s are doing a great job with the track, and I am looking forward to returning to Beebe Speedway for some Friday night racing!

Lonnie Wheatley, LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (November 7, 2009) – Tony Bruce, Jr., of Liberal, KS, overcame all variety of odds to pocket the hefty $15,000 winner’s share in Saturday night’s 22nd Annual O’Reilly Short Track Nationals presented by Hoosier Tires 40-lap championship finale atop I-30 Speedway’s high-banked, ¼-mile clay oval.
Bruce survived some unpredictable opening laps that had the capacity crowd abuzz, took command on the fifth round and then worked traffic to perfection in the final stages to secure his first Lucas Oil Sprint Car Series presented by K&N Filters triumph of the season.

Lonnie Wheatley, LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (November 6, 2009) – For the second night in a row at I-30 Speedway’s 22nd Annual O’Reilly Short Track Nationals presented by Hoosier Tires, it was a past event winner gracing victory lane as Jason Johnson captured his fourth Lucas Oil Sprint Car Series presented by K&N Filters triumph of the season in Friday night’s 25-lap preliminary feature.
“The Ragin’ Cajun” chased down race-long leader Tim Crawley for the point on the 19th round and paced the final circuits for his ninth overall ASCS feature win of the year aboard Lanny Row’s Wesmar-powered The Shop Motorsports No. 41 Eagle.

Lonnie Wheatley, LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (November 5, 2009) – Oklahoma native Wayne Johnson held off a furious last-lap bid from “Slammin’” Sammy Swindell to top Thursday’s opening night of I-30 Speedway’s 22nd Annual O’Reilly Short Track Nationals presented by Hoosier Tires.
While Swindell surged ahead in the final pair of corners of the 25-lapper atop the high-banked, ¼-mile clay oval, Johnson powered off the low side of turn four and wheelied underneath the checkered flag of Joe Clay, Jr., for his second Lucas Oil Sprint Car Series presented by K&N Filters triumph of the season by little more than a car-length.

West Memphis, Arkansas (10/3/09) – On Saturday night, the 3rd Annual COMP Cams Grass Root Nationals Presented By MidSouthRacing.com was held at Riverside International Speedway in West Memphis, Arkansas with a good crowd in the stands and a full pit area.
The TCI Automotive Street Stock division was in action battling for a $1,000 top prize. Forty-two entries from three states entered the event with Greg Alexander from Blytheville, Arkansas earning the R.E. Technologies/Ray’s Auto Collision Fast Qualifier honors. Alexander drew a one car inversion for heat race action, and as a result all heat races started without any inversion.

Little Rock’s famed I-30 Speedway held their 30 lap Topless Modified Nationals presented by Larry Shaw Race Cars and Rock Hard Powder Coating on Saturday night, and it was a race that would not disappoint.
50 open wheel modifieds from across the Mid South took part in the festivities, and the 30 lap feature event pitted some of I-30′s best regulars against some of the Mid South’s best travelers.
Merchant Makes Late Race Pass To Score 9th Win Of The Season

West Monroe Louisiana’s star late model driver Kenny Merchant earned his 9th win of the 2009 racing season, after chasing down Ronny Adams late in the race, Saturday night at I-30 Speedway.
The feature race fielded 21 cars from across the Mid South, and went flag to flag as the field put on a spectacular show for the fans in attendance.
